Lightweight & durable – without animal hide
Unlike traditional sheepskin footmuffs, we use no animal hide, but pure wool shorn from living sheep. This makes the Wombat especially lightweight, soft and supple, while also durable – with the same functional advantages as a sheepskin footmuff.
Extra protection with Lavalan®
For added weather protection, the filling is made from Lavalan® – a natural wool wadding that not only keeps warmth in but also reliably insulates against wind – perfect as a winter footmuff for use in a pram/stroller or buggy.
Practical for everyday use
The foot section can be folded up – so dirty toddler shoes are no problem. The two-way, separable zipper allows the upper and lower parts to be completely detached on warmer days. This creates a cozy base for the carrycot or a soft play blanket when you’re out and about.
With a convertible hood (wooden toggle buttons) and made from OEKO-TEX® certified merino wool and wool fleece - designed for natural comfort all year round.
Recommended age
Suitable from birth - as a footmuff for newborns in pram/stroller and carrycot (0-6 months), then as a footmuff in the seat unit or buggy (6 months - 3 years).
