Cosy warmth thanks to 100% merino wool. Our footmuff in the new quilted design for autumn, winter and summer, made of soft merino wool, is a natural thermal protection for babies and toddlers - and gives parents a secure feeling.
Cosy and snug and yet protected from the rain, snow and wind thanks to the water-repellent outer fabric - Loden is also made from the finest merino wool. The breathable fibre allows air to circulate in the footmuff, is naturally water-repellent, dirt-resistant and therefore easy to care for. The soft footmuff is padded with soft Lavalan. Lavalan is made from 100% virgin sheep's wool. The padding also makes the footmuff windproof and gives it an additional, soft cosy factor.
The wooden toggle buttons turn the head section into a hood and lengthen the turn-up. It is equipped with a separable two-way zip. On warmer days, this feature allows the top and bottom sections to be completely separated, which can be used as a cosy layer in the carrycot or as a play blanket. The upper part of the foot area can also be folded up. This means that dirty children's shoes are no longer a problem. The long slits for the seat belt in the back area make it possible to use the footmuff in almost all pushchairs and buggies.
Merino wool warms more than other types of wool in winter and cools in summer. It is odour-inhibiting, water-repellent, dirt-resistant and therefore easy to care for. The perfect natural fibre for health and well-being. Pure new sheep's wool has a relaxing and balancing effect on the body's energy systems. It regulates moisture and temperature.
Compared to a lambskin footmuff, the winter footmuff made from 100% virgin sheep's wool (merino wool) offers more lightness. Unlike a fur footmuff, the inner lining is made from merino pile, which is gently shorn from the sheep and the resulting wool is made into a soft, cosy pile. Provides cosy warmth in icy winter temperatures down to -10 degrees warmth and cools on hot summer days and is therefore suitable as a footmuff for all seasons.
The versatile 95 cm long footmuff is particularly durable, as it fits perfectly in the carrycot from birth and can be used until the child is 3 years old and will last for generations.

Dry-cleaning or washable with fur or wool detergent. Avoid vigorous rubbing. Pull into shape when damp and laid out flat on a towel to dry.
Tip: Stubborn dirt can be easily removed from the Loden fabric when dry with a fine natural hair brush. Stains can be removed with a damp cloth and some mild soap. Liquids do not penetrate the fabric and remain as droplets on the Loden.
Tip: If the Loden fabric is soiled by liquids, they should be immediately absorbed with an absorbent cloth, such as a tissue, or rinsed with clear water. Do not rub the fabric with a cloth, but only dab it.
... self-cleaning against odors Wool has a molecular structure that helps it self-clean. This effect is also present in loden fabric.
Tip: Simply hang the Loden fabric outside in fresh air, and it will be self-cleaned of any odors in a short time.
